LENER's litigation department is comprised of experienced experts in the resolution of judicial and non-judicial disputes before civil, commercial and criminal Courts of Justice, as well as national and international Arbitration Courts.
We are located in six offices throughout Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Oviedo, Vigo, Valladolid and Seville), which allows us to effectively and locally act in the different national courts.
Our advice is focused on the resolution of our clients' disputes, either out of court by defending their interests and, at the same time, avoiding possible litigation or arbitration, as well as in possible litigation or arbitration, all of which is presided by excellence and maximum professionalism.

Civil and commercial litigation:
Our teams of lawyers are experts and provide advice and legal management in all types of civil and commercial proceedings, as well as in all appeals and instances before the Civil and Commercial courts. Our advice is not limited to the handling of legal proceedings, as our main objective is the resolution of our client's litigation or pre-litigation disputes. Therefore, we also design and implement the appropriate pre-litigation strategies for the defense of our clients' interests. We also prepare legal reports/opinions on potential litigation, as well as preventive analyses to identify possible legal risks.
We have a team of lawyers that specializes in arbitration before the most prestigious national and international arbitration institutions - ICC, LCIA, AAA, CIAC, Spanish Court of Arbitration, Madrid Court of Arbitration, Madrid Bar Association Court of Arbitration and Barcelona Court of Arbitration.
Our experience in arbitration covers different economic sectors, such as construction, energy, insurance and reinsurance, shareholder agreements, corporate disputes, etc. We have been involved in some of the most important arbitration proceedings in recent years, working in English and/or Spanish and in different jurisdictions.
In addition, our Partner of the Litigation practice, Jesús Giner, is an arbitrator in several of the main Spanish Courts.
Economic Criminal Law and compliance:
Within the litigation department, our team includes experts in criminal law, especially related to company business, providing advice and legal guidance for both complainants and defendants.
In addition, from the perspective of the criminal liability of companies, we have lawyers specialized in risk management in order to prevent the possible liability of the company and its executives. We therefore provide advice on the Design and Implementation of Crime Prevention and Detection Models (Criminal Compliance). In this way, we ensure that our clients have efficient and secure systems for regulatory compliance and the implementation of Compliance. We advise important clients on internal investigations in the management of their Whistleblowing Channels.

Our main objective is the resolution of the client's dispute, either in or outside court by seeking, designing and implementing the best solution to defend its interests.
