How companies under ERTE by covid should prepare for this latest extension

Our colleagues Carmen Galán, partner of Lener's Labor Department, and María Segovia, lawyer of the same, have talked with Irene Ruiz de Valbuena, journalist at Cinco Días, about the situation of companies in order to transition to the structural ERTE established in the labor reform, if, due to their circumstances, they need to do so.
"Although the law does not limit the number of ERTEs that a company can carry out, it is not advisable for it to carry out successive temporary proceedings based on the same cause."
"The implementation of an ERTE will require the completion of a new procedure, with new documentation, new applications and new consultation period with the legal representation of employees in the case of ETOPs."
