In compliance with the provisions of article 86.2 of the Constitution, Royal Decree Law 16/2020, of April 28, on procedural and organizational measures to deal with COVID-19 in the field of the Administration of Justice, was submitted to debate and total vote by the Congress of Deputies in their session on May 13, 2020, in which its validation was agreed, as well as its processing as a Bill.
After the corresponding parliamentary process, Law 3/2020, of September 18, on procedural and organizational measures to face COVID-19 in the field of the administration of Justice, has finally seen the light, which repeal the aforementioned Royal Decree- Law, although it maintains some of the measures and modifies or introduces others.
