Javier González Villar

Javier is currently Director of the Lener office in Vigo and partner of the Litigation and Arbitration department. He joined Lener in 2013, after almost 10 years working at Bufete Devesa Abogados, as a lawyer in the area of Civil, Commercial and Bankruptcy Law. 

Throughout his legal career of more than 20 years of experience, he has participated in relevant projects in the food, construction and commercial sectors in general, both in procedural legal advice -in all its instances- and extra-procedural, having collaborated with the Chamber of Commerce of Pontevedra, and intervened in advising arbitration proceedings at the national and international level. 

In particular, in insolvency proceedings, in addition to having been appointed as insolvency administrator in many proceedings, he has participated in the legal advice of some of the most important and complex insolvency proceedings in Spain, being a regular speaker at courses and conferences on the subject, in relation to which he has also written several articles. 

Likewise, he has intervened in the advice of various procedures for the liquidation of community property and judicial partition of inheritance with very relevant assets, both judicially and extrajudicially, having held on different occasions, the position of executor.
