The Siete Economía program, of 7TV Andalucía, has taken stock of the success of the International Mining and Minerals Hall (MMH) International Mining Exhibition, which was recently held in Seville. Javier Targuetta, CEO of Atlantic Copper participated as guests in the program; Enrique Delgado, general director of the Riotinto Atalaya Mining mine; and Pedro Jiménez, managing partner of the Lener firm, a space coordinated and presented by the journalist Carlos Pizá.
More than 10,000 visitors visited the Palace of Exhibitions and Congresses (Fibes) weeks ago. This fair has practically tripled the number of congressmen and numerous presentations and business meetings have been held. A “success” for the organization of the third edition of this event, which has brought together international investors, “from London and New York”.
Pedro Jiménez has assured that "society is realizing the importance of the mining company", because "minerals are also necessary for the energy transition", something that is "going through". The challenge of the MMH is to consolidate nationally and project internationally. "You have to make the most international and diverse fair," said Targuetta.
Simplify procedures
On the other hand, during the Siete Economía program, the importance of simplifying bureaucratic procedures to attract more investors to Andalusia was discussed. “Obtaining permits in a financial operation is what can slow the growth of the sector. Anyone at the time of investing wants simplicity and not complexity, ”said Pedro Jiménez, who has assured that the sector has already had contacts with the Board.
