COVID-19: Main news introduced in Royal Decree-Law 11/2020

Continuing with the intense legislative work carried out in recent weeks, at its meeting on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, the Council of Ministers issued Royal Decree-Law 11/2020, which, like its five previous immediate ones, pursue to adapt our Legal System to the unfortunate circumstances that Spain is going through due to the COVID-19 epidemic by the establishment of urgent complementary measures in the social and economic field.

The breadth of these measures, which affect multiple legal branches and on many occasions modifies provisions also issued with the epidemic, modifies Royal Decree-Law 11/2020 in a complex text. Aware of this, but also of the immediate entry into force of the rule, which for most of its provisions took place on April 2, placing economic operators in urgent need of knowing and understanding the rule, we wanted to facilitate that task by analyzing the provisions of the Royal Decree-law that we have considered of greatest interest.
