Face to face with generative AI in human resources. Who is in control?
As part of the HR Innovation Summit 2025, our Director of People, Cristina Peláez Avezuela, participated in one of the most eagerly awaited panels in the Tech&People space, alongside Rafael Llanes Ontiveros (Head of Spain, AI Consulting at ML6) and Guille Lorbada Rodríguez, PhD (New Ways of Working at Repsol).
During the conversation, Cristina pointed out: "Artificial intelligence will make us more human, as it will lead us to draw on our most basic biological skills to adapt: our ability to learn and to relate to each other. And in this new relational context, it is foreseeable that in organisational environments there will be a natural hybridisation of teams and departments that until now operated in “silos”, such as technology and human resources, in order to seek synergies and levers for collaboration that drive transformation projects, placing people at the centre of the change so that no one is left behind."
The HR Innovation Summit, co-organised by the Spanish Association of Human Resources Directors (AEDRH) and RRHHDigital at La Nave (Madrid), brought together more than 2,000 professionals to learn about the latest trends in human resources and discuss technology, innovation and business management.
We would like to thank the organisers and all the speakers for promoting conversation and debate, and inspiring us with cases that are truly bringing about real and positive change in the world of work and people management.
