This week, we held a working breakfast at our Madrid headquarters focused on infrastructure financing.
Led by Jorge Urrecho, former Director General of Roads at the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility and the Community of Madrid, we analysed new formulas that propose a paradigm shift from the traditional model, moving towards schemes in which contributions are linked to the actual use of infrastructure.
During the session, key issues were addressed, such as:
- the economic sustainability of the system
- the quality and maintenance of roads
- the impact of these models on mobility and territorial balance
The meeting also featured a presentation by Carlos Martos, managing partner of Lener's Madrid office, who provided a legal and practical perspective based on his extensive experience in the construction and civil engineering sector.
A space for reflection and open dialogue to anticipate challenges and opportunities in a key area for competitiveness and economic development.
