From Lener we have given a course on the approval of the "Insolvency Law Reform Bill", which will transpose into Spanish law the Directive (EU) 2019/1023 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on frameworks for preventive restructuring, debt exoneration and disqualifications and on measures to increase the efficiency of restructuring, insolvency and debt exoneration procedures.
The training was comprised of three sessions in which we analyzed in detail the main novelties of a reform that, on many occasions, has intended to go further in its reforming spirit, with the aim of providing a solution to the limitations and inefficiencies in the presentation of the current insolvency and pre-insolvency system, which have often been a very clear limit when it comes to reaching solutions for companies that, although viable, have financial difficulties. As a result, many of them have been forced into insolvency proceedings and, in many cases, into liquidation.
