How family assets are structured, where the assets are located, which matrimonial property regime applies, and how to plan for succession when multiple jurisdictions are involved are issues that, until recently, seemed of secondary importance but are now key considerations.
For this reason, tax advice must be able to offer a comprehensive overview. Decisions that for years fell almost exclusively within the civil or wealth management sphere are now an integral part of tax analysis when assets take on an international dimension.
