IV legal training seminar for Japanese companies in Barcelona

Today, June 18, the 4th Legal Training Seminar for Japanese companies was held in Barcelona, attended by, among others, representatives of Suiyokai Barcelona (Association of Japanese Entrepreneurs in Catalonia).
The speakers included the participation of Guadalupe Díaz-Súnico, partner of Lener Tax Department, and Cristina Hernández Lería, partner of Lener Commercial Law Department, along with other speakers specialized in procedural matters (Mr. Íñigo Rodríguez- Sastre partner of Andersen Tax & Legal) and in labor matters (Mr. Joaquín Echevarri partner of Röedl & Partners).
Due to the current circumstances of the Covid-19 health alert worldwide, the seminar was held by videoconference format with simultaneous translation into Japanese. During the session, the participating Japanese entities showed great interest in the different contents exposed by the speakers:
- Adaptation measures and containment of employment after the end of the state of emergency.
- Legislative news in tax and commercial matters as a consequence of Covid-19.
- Rebus sic stantibus clause: the possible modification of contractual relationships.
