Lener has promoted the lawyer Lene Oña as a new partner in the Compliance and Good Corporate Governance Department.
Through this appointment, the company acknowledges her endeavours in the creation and management of the Compliance and Good Corporate Governance Department, a strategic area for Lener and relevant for all companies, featuring a series of mandatory regulatory obligations under constant evolution that require assessment to the highest degree, like that offered by Lener’s multidisciplinary team, duly adapting the sector’s specialist requirements, along with those of each client.
Lene Oña is a renowned figure in Corporate Compliance, boasting 20 years’ professional experience. She provides advice on the comprehensive implantation of the Risks and Compliance Management System plus effective Governance Models for both national and multinational organisations.
Likewise, she has experiences in good corporate governance practices, ethical approaches to business, scheduling and undertaking of internal investigations as preventative or reactive measures as a means of detecting elements prone to improvement and risks situations brought to light.
Her work also includes direct assessment of Bodies of Governance of companies, as well as performing the tasks of Compliance Officer, duly carrying out risk assessments, design, implantation and review of compliance programmes, along with crime prevention models.
Lene is also Secretary of the Bodies of Regulatory Compliance, Ethics Committees and Compliance in companies and corporate groups in diverse sectors. Furthermore, she is a lecturer on the University Master’s course on the Legal Profession taught at the International University of Catalonia and the Economics Lecture Room of the Catalonian School of Economists in which she teaches classes on matters dealing with Corporate Compliance.
