Time is passing and the deadline for the implementation of the Whistleblower Channel for companies with more than 50 employees is approaching.
In the following note, we remind you of the most important aspects of this Law 2/2023, whose purpose is to protect individuals against retaliation, who in a labor or professional context detect serious or very serious criminal or administrative infractions, in addition to reinforcing a culture of information in organizations for the prevention and detection of threats to public interests.
From our Compliance and Corporate Governance area, we assist you in the implementation and management of the Whistleblower Channel, in order to comply correctly with this obligation before December 1, 2023, for individuals or legal entities with more than 50 employees, as well as companies not domiciled in Spain and that carry out their activity through branches or agents or by providing services without a permanent establishment.
