Internationalization of the Colombian Company and Financing in Spain

Under the collaboration agreement with the Official Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Colombia, this entity and Lener, organized last week a webinar on the "Internationalization of Colombian Companies and Financing in Spain", in which Jesús Pérez, partner of the Lener's Tax department, and Mariela González, Director of the Financial Advisor department have participated.

The financing needs range from financing for new projects or growth to the renewal of the financing contracted under the same conditions or renegotiation of the terms and conditions of the financing available to companies.

The following questions were also addressed on this day:

• Internationalization of Colombian companies: Spain as entry to the European Union.
• Types of financing and aid available in Spain for Colombian companies.
• Risk appetite vs. level of flexibility.
• Mixed financing structures.
• Bilateral agreements, incentives and state aid.
