Lener advises in the acquisition process by the fund J.C. Marlin Capital to a total of 32 million euros of debt with the Mercury Hotel Santa Susanna through MG-IV, its investment vehicle.
The Mercury Hotel is an emblematic four-star superior hotel located in the town of Santa Susanna on the Costa del Maresme in Catalonia, with a privileged beachfront location and close to public transportation.
J.C. Marlin Capital is based in Madrid and Miami, and focuses its business on investing in credit and tangible asset classes, including corporate loans and bonds, liquidations and real estate. It has invested in affordable housing projects as well as healthcare assets, tourist apartments, coastal hotels, among others.
The team of the restructuring area of Lener that has participated in the insolvency part of this project has been led by partner Eduardo Córdoba Valderrama, and Jesús Redondo, Manager of the same area.
